Tl;dr:

Long story short: we minimize data collection. We don't collect any personally identifiable information (PII) on our website, and we don't use any cookies. We don't track across devices, sites or apps. Shortly put: we don't need to know what you, as an individual, are doing.

The only thing we look at is the aggregate data of users who use our website and product, but we never couple it to you as a specific user, nor do we couple it to your organization. We do this to see how our site and product works as a whole. Because we take this approach, we are, by default, GDPR compliant.

Analytics

Our website uses Plausible Analytics (https://plausible.io/), an open-source and privacy-focused service, to understand visitor trends and the effectiveness of our marketing outreach. Plausible Analytics collects only aggregated information, which does not allow us to identify any visitor to our website. No cookies are used and no personal data—not even an IP address or browser user agent—is stored.

Newsletter service

For sending out mail updates, we use a service called Sendgrid (https://sendgrid.com/), provided by Twilio Inc., 645 Harrison Street, Third Floor, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. We process the data you entered during registration in order to be able to send a confirmation email to your email address. After confirmation, we process the data in order to be able to send emails. For the purpose of personalization, we may also process the name of the user, if this has been provided.
